Every one of them has its own pool, which is rare enough on its own — but the detail worth knowing is where the pool sits. In the Island and Beach Villas it's tucked behind the villa in a walled garden, screened by thick tropical vegetation rather than facing a public beach path, so you can use it the way you'd use a pool at home. Over the lagoon, the pools sit on the deck with steps straight down into the water. Beyond the villas there's a house reef you can snorkel from the jetty, four restaurants, a cocktail bar, a wine loft holding more than 200 labels, and a spa built out over the water.

All 98 villas here have a pool, and on the island side it isn't on display. The Island and Beach Villas put theirs behind the villa in a walled garden, screened by thick vegetation instead of opening onto a shared beach path — no wrap, no audience, no waiting for someone to walk past. Out on the lagoon the pools sit on the deck with steps into the water.
Coco Bodu Hithi's reef is one of the better ones in North Malé Atoll and it starts at the jetty — no excursion, no boat, just fins and a mask. Turtle Point sits about fifteen minutes away with resident hawksbill turtles, and mantas move through the atoll seasonally. Guided snorkelling with the resort's marine biologist runs to Turtle Point, Shark Point and, in season, Manta Point.
Air by the pool for buffets that rotate through Maldivian, Indian, Arabian, Italian and French nights. Aqua over the water for seafood. Tsuki for sushi and tempura at a proper counter. Stars facing west, so the sunset arrives with dinner. And a wine loft holding more than 200 labels with a sommelier who runs tasting dinners through the week.
Coco Spa sits over the lagoon with six treatment rooms looking straight down at the water, two more laid out with mats for Thai massage, a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and cold plunge pool. The signature is Journey to the Maldives, a 110-minute ritual. There's a beach-facing yoga and meditation pavilion, a glass-walled gym over the ocean, and paddleboard yoga out on the lagoon itself.

The reef starts at the jetty, so this is the one water activity that costs you nothing but the walk. Guided sessions with the resort's marine biologist run out to Turtle Point, about fifteen minutes away, where hawksbill turtles are resident, and to Shark Point — with Manta Point added when the season brings them through.
A PADI 5-Star centre on the island, running courses from first-time discovery dives through certification, and daily boat trips to the channels and thilas of North Malé Atoll. Nitrox and equipment rental are available on site.

Getting There
Speedboat Transfer
About 35 minutes from Velana International Airport

Coco Bodu Hithi sits in North Malé Atoll, roughly 30 kilometres from the airport. A resort representative meets you inside the terminal and walks you to the boat — the whole crossing takes about 35 minutes across open water, with the island in sight for the last stretch of it.

The practical advantage over a seaplane resort: a speedboat isn't tied to daylight hours, so a late arrival doesn't cost you a night in a Malé transit hotel. Send us your flight times and we'll have the transfer scheduled around them in both directions.

FAQs
Children are welcome — this is not an adults-only resort. Worth knowing for room choice: the Water Villa sleeps two only, while the Beach, Island and Escape Water Villas take two adults and two children.
Yes — there's a small kids club on the island with supervised activities. It's modest in size; Coco Bodu Hithi is primarily a couples' resort rather than a large family property.
A copy of your wedding certificate or wedding invitation card, and your travel dates need to fall within 6 months of your marriage date.
Guests celebrating a wedding anniversary or a birthday during the stay receive sparkling wine and a cake for the occasion. Let us know at the time of booking so it's noted on your reservation.

Yes — vegetarian and Indian dishes are on the menus, though the choice is limited rather than extensive. Tell us at the time of booking and we'll put the request in with the resort, so the kitchen is ready for you when you arrive.
Where they sit. Both are the same size with the same walled pool behind the villa, but the Beach Villa is on a proper stretch of sand with the beach right outside. The Island Villa is set back into the island's greenery and doesn't have a real beach in front of it — so if stepping straight onto the sand matters to you, take the Beach Villa.
Size and position. The Water Villa is 109 m² and sleeps two. The Escape Water Villa is 144 m², sits further out along the jetty with a separate living area, and sleeps up to three adults or two adults with two children.
It's one of the better house reefs in North Malé Atoll and you can snorkel it straight from the jetty. Turtle Point, around 15 minutes away by boat, has resident hawksbill turtles, and mantas pass through seasonally.
