Hilton Maldives Amingiri Resort & Spa opened in 2022 in North Malé Atoll, 20 minutes by speedboat from the airport, with the boat running 24 hours a day. All 109 villas, on the beach and over the water, have a private pool, and the overwater villas have steps straight down into the lagoon. Dining runs from handmade pasta over the water at Origin to wood-fired pizza and grilled seafood on the sand at Beach Shack, and the overwater spa includes a full Turkish hammam. Children have the Krakengiri Kids' Club and teenagers their own rooftop lounge, Re:Fuel, while Eden, the champagne and gin bar over the lagoon, is for adults only.

There's no villa category on the island without its own pool. The beach villas start at 138 m² with a pool set in the garden, and the overwater villas start at 154 m² with a pool on the deck and steps down into the lagoon.
Beside the pool, Aura's Cocktail Lab is where the bar team brews its own bitters and builds the island's cocktail list. Guests can join mixology classes there, and the bar is open from 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM.
Krakengiri Kids' Club has a splash park, a pool with a mini slide, nap rooms, an arts and crafts studio and a gaming zone, open 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and complimentary for ages 4 to 12. Teenagers get Re:Fuel, a rooftop lounge with its own entrance, a milkshake bar and outdoor movie nights.
Amingiri Spa & Hammam sits over the lagoon and runs a full hammam ritual — steam, soap scrub, foam massage and a rhassoul clay wrap — alongside facials, body treatments and couples' treatment rooms. Yoga runs at sunrise and sunset, with an aerial yoga class on the schedule.
The dive centre reaches more than 30 sites across North Malé Atoll, from gentle drifts to channel dives with grey reef sharks. The resort also runs sunset dolphin cruises and turtle trips on a traditional dhoni with its marine biologist.

A 138 m² villa set among the island's greenery with the beach at the door, sleeping two in a king bed. It has a private garden pool and a sundeck with a dining table, sun loungers and a swing.
One Bedroom Overwater Pool Villa
A 154 m² villa over the lagoon for two, with a king bed and a private pool on the deck. The deck also has sun loungers and a hammock, and steps lead straight down into the water.

The main restaurant, with high ceilings and an open kitchen, serving breakfast from 7:00 to 10:30 AM and dinner from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Evenings alternate between à la carte menus and themed buffets across Western, Asian, Middle Eastern and Italian cooking.
An Italian restaurant over the lagoon, open for dinner from 6:30 to 10:00 PM. The menu centres on handmade pasta, sustainably sourced seafood and plant-based dishes.
Tables in the sand, with wood-fired pizza at lunch (12:00 to 2:30 PM) and flame-grilled seafood and meats at dinner (6:30 to 10:00 PM). The most relaxed setting on the island, and an easy one with children.
The pool bar, open 10:00 AM to 11:30 PM, with a Cocktail Lab where the bar team makes its own bitters. Mixology classes run here, and an Asian menu is served on selected evenings.
A small overwater champagne and gin bar for adults only, open 5:30 to 11:30 PM. It's the quiet room on a family island, set up for an evening drink over the lagoon.

The house reef sits closest to the overwater villas, so you can snorkel straight from the villa steps; guests regularly report blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, hawksbill turtles and nurse sharks. The dive centre reaches more than 30 sites across North Malé Atoll, from gentle drifts to channel dives with grey reef sharks, and runs courses from a first try-dive upward.
Glass-bottomed kayaks and paddleboards go out from the beach. The watersports centre adds jet skis, seabobs, flyboarding, parasailing, towed inflatables and big-game fishing at extra cost, and the resort runs sunset dolphin cruises and turtle trips on a traditional dhoni with its marine biologist.
A seaside padel court, a futsal pitch and a multi-purpose court for tennis, badminton, basketball and volleyball. There's also a 24-hour gym with trainers, an art studio with sunset painting sessions, and beach games through the week.
Treatment pavilions over the water and a full Turkish hammam ritual, alongside facials, body treatments, couples' rooms and a salon. Yoga runs at sunrise and sunset with an aerial class on the schedule, sound healing sessions run through the week, and Young Zen treatments cover ages 5 to 18.

Getting There
Speedboat Transfer
20 minutes from Malé International Airport
The resort's own speedboat runs between Velana International Airport and the island 24 hours a day, and the crossing takes about 20 minutes. Because it doesn't depend on daylight the way seaplanes do, a late-night arrival still reaches the island the same night — no stopover in a Malé hotel.

Babysitting for younger children can be arranged for a fee. The only adults-only space on the island is Eden, the overwater champagne and gin bar.
A copy of your wedding certificate at the time of booking. On this rate the honeymoon benefits apply to stays of 4 nights or more, so the 3-night package doesn't qualify on its own — ask us to price the fourth night. The resort also asks that you travel within 8 months of your wedding date.

Guests regularly report blacktip and whitetip reef sharks, hawksbill turtles and nurse sharks, and the far end of the overwater jetty is the quieter stretch. For the strongest coral, the dive centre runs boat trips to North Malé Atoll sites.

There's no separate Indian restaurant. Habitat, the all-day restaurant, runs Western, Asian, Middle Eastern and Italian menus with themed buffet nights, so there's vegetarian choice at breakfast and dinner. The resort doesn't publish a daily Indian menu, so tell us your dietary needs at booking and we'll pass them to the resort.
