Adaaran Prestige Vadoo sits on Vadoo, a small island at the northern edge of South Malé Atoll, 15–20 minutes by speedboat from the airport. It has been adults-only since November 2023, and all 50 villas stand over the water, each with a butler. The Sunrise, Sunset and Honeymoon Villas all come with a private plunge pool, a jacuzzi and glass floor panels over the lagoon. The house reef is a coral drop-off close to the villas, where snorkelers regularly see reef sharks, rays and turtles. Premium All-Inclusive covers 3 restaurants and 2 bars, from Japanese set menus at Kithajima to seafood on the sand at Kakuni.

Every guest on Vadoo is 18 or over, and with just 50 villas on a small island, the pace is set by couples: quiet pools, no kids' club, calm evenings at Kandolhi Bar and unhurried dinners. Butler service, couples' treatment rooms at the spa and candlelit dinners on the sand all make it a natural fit for honeymooners and anniversaries.
The Sunrise, Sunset and Honeymoon Villas each have a private plunge pool on the deck, a jacuzzi and glass floor panels, so you can watch fish under the villa without leaving the room.
Dine around 3 restaurants and 2 bars — Farivalhu, Kithajima, Kakuni, Kandolhi Bar and Dhoni Bar — with the minibar restocked daily, sundowner cocktails at Kandolhi Bar and one shisha session a day at Kandolhi or Dhoni Bar.
The house reef is a coral drop-off close to the water villas, so there's no boat to book. Snorkelers regularly see reef sharks, rays and turtles, and the island's dive centre runs guided dives on the same reef.
Book a candlelit dinner on the sand at Kakuni, or take your evening drink to Kandolhi Bar's three-sided overwater deck as the sun goes down.

The island's main restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner from set and à la carte menus, with afternoon tea from a 20-variety tea cart. This is where you'll find the vegetarian dishes and the Indian dishes.
Sushi, sashimi and teppanyaki for dinner. On Premium All-Inclusive it's a Japanese set menu, and a reservation is required.
Kakuni Barefoot sits at the far end of the island from the jetty — seafood on the sand, and the spot for a candlelit dinner.
The beach bar in front of the best stretch of house reef — juices, cocktails and a snack menu between snorkels.
The main bar, open 8:00 AM to midnight, on a three-sided deck over the water. Sundowner cocktails each evening, and Premium All-Inclusive guests get one shisha session a day here or at Dhoni Bar.
Activities & Wellness
Snorkel the house reef from the villa steps or from the beach by Dhoni Bar, where the coral drop-off sits close to shore. The Vadoo Dive Centre runs guided dives on the house reef and nearby South Malé Atoll sites at extra cost.
Seabob, parasailing, flyboarding, jet skiing and water skiing run from the island's water sports centre at extra cost. Canoes and paddleboards are available for exploring the lagoon at your own pace.
Sunset cruises on a traditional dhoni, a Whale Submarine trip off Malé, sunset fishing and a dolphin safari, all bookable at the island's excursion desk.
Live music, DJ nights, yoga, water aerobics, cook-with-the-chef sessions and a cocktail class with the Vadoo mixologist.
An overwater spa with two double treatment rooms and Balinese therapists, offering massages, couples treatments and longer therapies with the lagoon below.
Getting There
Speedboat Transfer
15–20 minutes from Malé International Airport

An Adaaran representative meets you at the airport and walks you to the resort's speedboat. The crossing to Vadoo takes 15–20 minutes, so you can be on your villa deck soon after landing — no seaplane connection to wait for.

Yes, the minimum age is 18. Adaaran Prestige Vadoo has been adults-only since November 2023, so children can't stay on the island.
A copy of your wedding certificate or wedding invitation card, and your travel dates need to fall within 6 months of your marriage date.
Your Premium All-Inclusive package lets you dine around all 3 restaurants and 2 bars on the island. Kithajima serves a Japanese set menu and needs a reservation, so book it early in your stay.
There's no separate Indian restaurant. Farivalhu, the main restaurant, serves vegetarian and vegan options and has Indian dishes on its menu. Tell us your dietary needs at booking and we'll pass them to the resort.
