Centara Ras Fushi sits on Giraavaru island in North Malé Atoll, under 20 minutes by speedboat from the airport. All 140 villas, split between the beach and the lagoon, are for guests aged 18 and over. The house reef begins about 20 metres off the beach, where snorkelers regularly see reef sharks and turtles, and the overwater villas have steps straight down into the lagoon. Seven places to eat and drink cover a daily themed buffet at Oceans, Thai at Suan Bua, Italian at La Brezza, Middle Eastern under a Bedouin-style tent at Al Khaimah and sundowners at the overwater Viu Bar, and SPA Cenvaree has nine treatment rooms for singles and couples.

The reef edge sits about 20 metres from the beach, so the snorkeling starts with a short swim rather than a boat ride. Reef sharks and turtles are regular sightings, the overwater villas have their own steps down into the lagoon, and the reef can also be snorkeled after dark.
Every guest on the island is 18 or over, across all 140 beach and overwater villas. There's no kids' club and no family pool, so the days run around the reef, the beachfront infinity pool and the spa, with beach yoga and live music in the evenings.
Daily themed buffets at Oceans, modern Thai at Suan Bua, Italian and seafood at La Brezza and Middle Eastern dinners in a Bedouin-style tent at Al Khaimah, plus three bars: the overwater Viu Bar, Waves Pool Bar and Giraavaru Lobby Bar. In-villa dining runs 24 hours if you'd rather eat on your deck.
The island has two pools: an infinity pool on the beachfront looking out to sea, and a pool with a swim-up bar. Waves Pool Bar serves drinks poolside from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Centara's own spa brand runs nine treatment rooms designed for individuals and couples, with a wellness area and a relaxation pavilion. The menu leans on Thai and Ayurvedic treatments, from massages to facials.

Snorkel the house reef from the beach, where the reef edge starts about 20 metres out, or join a night snorkeling session. The PADI 5-Star dive centre runs Discover Scuba for first-timers and courses up to PADI Rescue Diver, with Giraavaru Cave, Kuda Haa, Shark Point, Lion's Head and Kikki Reef 5–20 minutes away by dhoni and the Maldives Victory wreck under an hour away.
Kayaks, paddleboards, pedal boats, windsurfing and catamaran sailing run from the island's water sports centre, along with kite surfing, water skiing and banana rides. Surfing is offered in season.
Half-day and full-day trips include whale shark, sea turtle and dolphin excursions, a snorkel safari, a semi-submarine trip, sunset fishing and big game fishing, a local island visit and a Malé sightseeing tour.

A resort representative meets you at the airport and walks you to the speedboat for the crossing to the island, which takes under 20 minutes. The resort runs its speedboat 24 hours a day when arranged in advance, so a late-night landing still ends on the island rather than in a Malé hotel — no seaplane connection to wait for.
